I have been working at Golden 1 Credit Union full-time for more than 3 years. The employees I work with on a daily basis are the only thing good about working at Golden 1. The benefit package was good however that too is changing for the benefit of the company not the employees. Senior Leadership Donna Bland and her inside people are out of touch with what is happening in the branches. The branch employees work extremely hard and have no support from back office departments or Senior Leadership.

Donna Bland needs to ask for real feedback from the employees not her inside people. The employee survey is a joke. It is all made to have Donna look good. There is no gratitude from Senior Leadership for the employees who work hard to make this organization great for our members.

Organization is going down hill fast and I would not recommend working here. Get your head out of the hole in the ground and focus on being a great financial institution that cares about their members and their employees not the Golden 1 Center. Another joke. Have less focus on Donna Bland and her inside people and more focus on the employees that work every day and are exhausted because of staffing shortages and no support from the CLF process team.

I have been working at Golden 1 Credit Union full-time for more than 8 years. I really love the people I work with in my department. Everybody works hard to take care our members in spite of our top level management not caring about us or the membership here. Everything was awesome here until Donna Bland spent million of our members money on a basketball stadium nobody wanted! Every body is talking about cutting costs and job cuts! This is a sinking ship going down fast!

I can't say enough how bad our top level management is. Our old CEO was approachable and she would try to get to know us as people. Donna Bland is barely seen around here and the crew she's hired are mostly the same.

I lost count how many VP's and managers we had because of the revolving door. People are afraid to speak up because they don't want to lose there jobs. I have to many years invested here and it makes The board of directors really needs to questions the decisions being made by our management. They pay our CEO , for what? You people need to respect your employees and pay us fairly.
